The name Cal Faro describes the magic and luminosity of this place that helps people find their lighthouse: the inner light that illuminates their path.

It used to be a holiday camp where many boys and girls came to play and enjoy themselves.

Today it is a remodelled farmhouse dedicated to hosting retreats and events, a space of peace and tranquillity where people come to relax. An ideal place to disconnect from everyday life and retreat to delve into the depths of the Self. That is the light of the Cal Faro dream!

The house is equipped to be sustainable and eco-friendly: it has solar panels and a wood-fired boiler that connects to the central heating throughout the house.

Retreat House

The old farmhouse has been completely remodelled, respecting its original walls, ceiling and wooden beams, which have been carefully preserved and restored. The result is a home that vividly blends its ancient essence with the charm and comforts of a modern, stylish house.

Located in the heart of Catalonia, in the Anoia region. The house sits on a mountain in the Sierra d'Ancosa, at 700 metres altitude, on the outskirts of the village of La Llacuna.

The 9-hectare estate is surrounded by holm oaks, pines, oaks and fruit trees. The perfect place for forest bathing, connecting with mother nature and enjoying privacy.

We offer healthy, locally sourced food, and whenever possible we use produce from our own organic vegetable garden.

Comfortable Rooms

All rooms come with bed linen, blankets and towels for each person, plus top-quality mattresses to guarantee maximum rest.

In winter, we enjoy heating in all rooms and wood-burning stoves in the common areas, and in summer the house stays cool without needing air conditioning to enjoy a pleasant temperature. A comfortable and charming house where we have prioritised sustainable and eco-friendly wooden furniture.

Activity Rooms

We have three activity spaces: two indoor rooms and a large outdoor platform. All rooms are cosy and versatile, ideal for yoga, meditation, body movement activities, inner growth workshops and other group practices.

These are spaces designed to promote relaxation, calm and connection with oneself and the group, in an environment filled with the sounds of nature.

Swimming Pool

In a forest setting, we have a swimming pool to cool off during the hottest months. There are also corners to relax and listen to the sounds of nature.
